Goenitz, the god-like antagonist of the King of Fighters ’96 installment, has made his highly anticipated return to the popular fighting game franchise in the newest installment, The King of Fighters XV. With the recent Cross-Play update, players can now use Goenitz and his unique set of moves as part of their team.
Goenitz brings a mixture of lightning-fast mixups, deadly unblockables and powerful high-low attacks to the game. He is capable of hitting his opponent from all angles and can inflict heavy punishment if they make a mistake. Goenitz’s signature move, the fabled Heavenly Sacrifice, allows him to hit his opponent with a devastating, unblockable projectile. This move can be used to either punish an opponent’s attack or to wrap up a match.
The Cross-Play update adds other features as well. Players can now take part in online multiplayer matches against opponents on different platforms. The update also adds improved matchmaking, balance tweaks and character customization options.
