Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 Lets You Skate Through Dark Souls’ Firelink Shrine

Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 is no ordinary skateboarding game. It lets you take your board into some wild and unexpected places, including one of the most beloved video game settings of all time – the Firelink Shrine of Dark Souls.

As part of the game’s special ‘Create-A-Skater’ mode, you can customize your own skater and take them on a wild skateboarding journey across the Firelink Shrine, one of the most iconic and beloved areas of the standalone Dark Souls game. The mode gives you the ability to explore and grind around the crushingly hard medieval locale, all while completing missions and grinding rails.

The scale of the skate spot is just as epic as you would expect from seeing the Firelink Shrine in Dark Souls. There are plenty of sub-locations to explore, including Undead Burg, the New Londo Ruins, and the rooftops of Blighttown. You can even go toe-to-toe against the classic bosses, like the massive Taurus Demon, and rack up some serious POP-skating combos.

Not only is there a faithful recreation of the area to skate through, but the soundtrack has also been updated to include some classic Dark Souls tracks, such as ‘Gwyn, Lord of Cinder’. This adds an extra level of authenticity to your skating escapades and pulls you into the atmosphere of Lordran even further.

So for all you skateboarders who are also huge Dark Souls fans, Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 is the perfect way to combine your two passions into one. With its faithful recreation of the Firelink Shrine and its rousing soundtrack, you’re guaranteed to have a ton of fun shredding down the gloomy lanes of Lordran!
