Naraka: Bladepoint Shifts to Free-To-Play Model on PS5 and All Platforms
Naraka: Bladepoint developer 24 Entertainment has announced that the game will shift to a free-to-play model on PS5, as well as across all platforms. This change comes after the game’s launch in early 2021. The move will allow anyone to play Naraka: Bladepoint on PS5, Xbox, and PC.
The game will still feature its original content and gameplay, including Naraka’s signature fast and fluid parkour-inspired acrobatics and combat. The only difference is that players will now have the option to play for free. Along with this shift, 24 Entertainment announced its upcoming plans for Naraka: Bladepoint, which include expanding the map, increasing content, as well as continuing to improve the game.
Though the game is now free-to-play, there will still be in-game purchases available for those looking for a more in-depth experience. 24 Entertainment highlighted some of the items that players may want to buy in order to better their game such as gems to improve their character’s stats, weapon upgrades, and cosmetic skins. Plus, purchasing the Deluxe version of the game still will include exclusive content such as additional characters, missions, and weapons.
24 Entertainment also had one last major announcement for fans of Naraka: Bladepoint: they will be introducing a Battle Pass system that will reward players with exclusive in-game items as they progress through the game. This system promises to add more replayability to Naraka: Bladepoint, as players will be encouraged to keep coming back to the game to unlock new rewards.
Overall, 24 Entertainment’s move towards a free-to-play model allows fans of Naraka: Bladepoint to enjoy the game for free, as well as offering them the opportunity to further expand their experience with in-game purchases or the Deluxe version. As 24 Entertainment continues to develop and expand upon Naraka: Bladepoint, the game will undoubtedly offer an even more thrilling experience.
