A Tale Unresolved: The Master Quest of ‘The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD’ DLC
A new chapter in ”The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD” eagerly awaits completion by dedicated players as a proper follow-up to their long-standing adventure. Released in 2006 on the Wii and GameCube, the game is now available in HD remastered format from Nintendo and has become a popular title for the most devoted Zelda fanatics. With the game’s subsequent release of “The Master Trials” and “The Champions’ Ballad” downloadable content (DLC) packages, many fans are still left wanting more.
In the first “Twilight Princess” installment, players were able to partake in a quest of intense storytelling, difficult dungeons, and plenty of heartwarming moments. With the release of the HD version in 2016, old-time fans and gamers who haven’t yet partaken in this odyssey had the chance to explore their way through the greatly detailed Hyrule of Hyrule Warriors once more.
The additional DLC packages offered new content within the game, such as bonus costumes and helpful items that allowed access to areas in the map that had been encrypted before. “The Master Trials” also included a challenging new dungeon with boss battles and a “Trial of the Sword” mode that imbues Link’s true strength if he can win all the battles. But many fans felt as though these additions simply weren’t enough.
To remedy this, speculation has been running rampant on what type of extended content could be available to expand the game beyond its already impressive boundaries. Ideas range from brand-new dungeons, bosses, and items; to new lands with enough story-based quests to keep players enthralled. Some players even wish for an entirely new mode, such as a co-op experience or a versus mode within the game, in order to take their experience to the next level.
Whichever of these rumored elements turn out to be true, the hype has created a steady surge amongst the Zelda fanbase of this year-old HD installment. Nintendo, the producer behind this much beloved saga, has yet to confirm any details, but that has not deterred the most dedicated fans from dreaming up the possibilities of a “Twilight Princess” DLC unlike anything seen before.
In the meantime, Zelda followers remain patient in their anticipation of the official announcement from Nintendo which signals the arrival of the newest downloadable content. Onlywhen Nintendo confirms this exciting news or gives a glimpse into what is to come, will the public finally get the answers they seek and the resolution they have been waiting for.
