Street Fighter 6 Update Fixes Option Select Throw Tech Bug
A new update to the popular fighting game Street Fighter 6 has been released, bringing with it fixes for some major issues. One of the main issues addressed is an annoying bug involving the “Option Select Throw Tech” mechanic.
The Option Select Throw Tech mechanic was introduced in Street Fighter 6 as a way to counter an opponent’s throw in the middle of a round. When used properly, it could easily turn the tide of a match; however, there was an issue where the wrong animation would be activated, causing the character to lose the throw attempt.
This bug has been present since the game’s launch, and has been particularly annoying for tournament players looking to gain an edge in their matches. Thankfully, Capcom has addressed the issue with the new update, introducing a new animation for the mechanic that will properly counter successful throws.
The update also brings with it other minor fixes, such as improvements to the netcode and bug fixes for some of the characters. With this update, Street Fighter 6 players can look forward to a more balanced and enjoyable experience when taking on their opponents.
