Nintendo recently announced the fifth wave of downloadable content (DLC) for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It includes six new characters, four new vehicles, and nine new tracks. The six new characters available with this DLC are:

- Dry Bones from Mario Kart Wii
Vehicles
In addition to the new characters, there are four new vehicles available with this DLC. These are:
- The Master Cycle Zero from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- The Blue Falcon kart from F-Zero
- The antique Koppa Taxi from Animal Crossing
- The Streetle from Mario Kart 8

Finally, there are nine new tracks available with this DLC. These are:

- Tricky Tires from Mario Kart 8
- GBA Peach Circuit from Super Mario Advance
- N64 Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 64
- SNES Donut Plains 3 from Super Mario Kart
- GCN DK Mountain from Mario Kart Double Dash!!
- DS Wario Stadium from Mario Kart DS
- Wii Grumble Volcano from Mario Kart Wii
- 3DS Neo Bowser City from Mario Kart 7
