Adrian Hon to Step Away from Zombies, Run! Development in 2024

After eight years developing the groundbreaking ‌fitness game Zombies, Run!, Adrian Hon is stepping away ⁣from the company in 2024. This⁢ announcement comes off the heels of the successful launch of the 5th season of Zombies,​ Run!, and the launch of the much-anticipated augmented reality game Zombies Everywhere!

Adrian Hon ‍originally founded ⁣Zombies, Run! in 2013 with his development​ partner, Naomi Alderman. By utilizing elements of fitness-based running, augmented reality,⁢ and storytelling, ⁣Zombies ⁢Run! quickly established itself as a popular and respected⁤ running fitness game. ‌With 21.7 million registered downloads, Zombies, Run! has become one of the most successful fitness games in the world.

Although he⁤ is ​stepping away⁤ from development ⁢for Zombies, Run!, Hon will remain at the company as an advisor. “I plan to be available to answer questions and provide guidance,” Hon said. “I still believe that Zombies, Run! can bring fitness to people all over the⁢ world and I​ am so proud of what we have been able to ‍accomplish ⁢over ⁢the last 8 years.”

Alderman, the executive producer of Zombies, Run!, will take a larger role in the day-to-day running of the game and its development in the wake ⁣of ⁣Hon’s ​departure. “The thing that makes Zombies, Run! stand out is its unique‌ gameplay,” said Alderman. “Adrian has been an integral part of that and I am looking forward to working with him in the future.”
