Xbox Game Pass Strengthens Its Lineup with Surprise Title in July

Xbox Game Pass continues to expand its range of available titles for gamers with its July update. Week on week, Xbox Game Pass subscribers have been increasingly delighted with new surprises and additional titles to its lineup.

The latest announcements come with the surprise title Battletoads, originally released for the NES in 1991, and Double Dragon 4. Battletoads is now available for Xbox consoles, PC and through Xbox Cloud Streaming on Android devices with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

On Xbox, Double Dragon 4, a classic beat ’em up, will release on July 9, 2020 and feature many of the original game’s features including levels, art and combat moves. The sequel follows hot on the heels of Battletoads, another beloved classic released the previous week.

In addition to this, July has seen a host of brand-new games from the Xbox Game Pass library. Little Town Hero, a turn-based RPG from Game Freak is now available, as well as The King’s Bird, an action-adventure game where you use speed and dexterity to traverse through treacherous landscapes. Fans of horror can look forward to DEAD BY DAYLIGHT, where one player takes on the role of a ruthless killer and the other survivors need to outsmart and outrun him.

A Growing Library of Games

Xbox Game Pass continues to strengthen its lineup of available games for its subscribers. With great surprise titles added from classic and modern franchises, fans of the service are sure to keep their eyes out for regular updates. Microsoft has also recently announced a partnership with EA to bring EA Play to both PC and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. As the library expands, the range of games and experiences widens to satisfy all types of gamers.

Xbox Game Pass players have had a great month in July. With surprise titles, new releases, and a growing library, fans can keep their eyes peeled for more titles coming in the future.
