The beloved classic Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh is making its way to multiple platforms this November 2019. Originally released as a comic book in 1932, Tintin Reporter has since gone on to inspire a number of classic animations and film adaptations. Now, players of all ages will be able to experience beloved capers of the world’s most famous young reporter on their choice of platform.
The game’s developers have confirmed that the game will be available on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch this November (2019). PC and console versions will include original content and graphics from other versions, updated to fit the new platforms. However, a Nintendo Switch version of the game is currently set to release sometime in November 2024.
Of course, no Tintin adventure would be complete without plenty of puzzles and action. Players can expect various levels of difficulty as they progress, with puzzles ranging from the relatively simple to the downright tricky. Additionally, there’ll be plenty of familiar faces from the original comic - from Tintin and Snowy to Ahmed the chauffeur, and of course Captain Haddock himself. Players will even be able to take on the role of these characters in certain puzzles.
Since the 1932 release of Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh, fans of Tintin adventures have been clamoring for a chance to play the game. Now, with its re-release across multiple platforms, they will finally have that chance. Those who can’t wait to experience the game can pick up a physical or digital copy of Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh when it releases this November (2019). For those eager for a switch version, the game should be available sometime in 2024.
