The wait is almost over – Stalker 2 is officially coming out in 2023! During Microsoft’s Xbox Gamescom presentation, a special trailer was released showcasing the game’s new and improved visuals. Players will soon be able to explore the world of Chernobyl from a whole different perspective, and see how the area has changed since the original game’s release.
The trailer included a look at the game’s UI, characters, and some of the environments. All of the hard work that has gone into the game was evident in the trailer, from the detailed character designs to the realistic-looking ruins of what were once thriving cities. It is clear that the developers have put a lot of effort into making this the most immersive Stalker experience yet.
The official website released more information about the game, such as the fact that players will take the role of a stalker in the Zone, scavenging for artifacts and exploring the irradiated wasteland. You’ll be able to craft weapons and equipment to ensure your survival in the harsh environment, as well as customize your character with items you find.
And of course, the game promises a thrilling story filled with unexpected twists and turns. The website says that the game will feature “an emotionally-driven narrative that explores the ethical dilemmas of human nature, morality, and redemption”.
