Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will receive a major free update on October 12. The update will include a new character, which resulted in the retitling of the game to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Deluxe.
Additional content in the update includes costumes, Super Attacks, and accessories. Dragon Ball characters such as Super Baby Vegeta, Super Baby 2, and Omega Shenron from Dragon Ball GT will appear as playable fighters. New music, Masters Quests, and Expert Missions will be added to the game.
The game’s second season pass, “Legendary Pack 2” will be released on October 12 for 2,020 yen. The pack will include Super Baby Vegeta, Goku (Super Saiyan 4), and Vegeta (Super Saiyan 4) as playable characters. It will also include two costumes and seven Super Attacks.
Bandai Namco also announced that it will release a separate version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 consoles in 2024. It will be a HD quality conversion of the original game with improved visuals, lighting, and textures.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
