The development team behind Black Myth: Wukong have announced that their action-adventure title will be launching on Steam in China soon. The announcement itself was made on the game’s official Weibo account, with the developer also providing a few screenshots from the game, as well as a list of the supported languages.
The Steam page for Black Myth: Wukong confirms that the game will be supporting both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, as well as English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, and Portuguese. The screenshots accompanying the announcement depict a variety of different locations and boss creatures that players will have to battle on their journey through the game.
The developer, however, made no mention of any release date for the title. They did reveal, though, that more information and updates concerning Black Myth: Wukong will be shared in the weeks to come.
Set in a mythical Chinese world, Black Myth: Wukong is an action-adventure game developed by the independent team at Chinese game studio Game Science. It follows the story of Sun Wukong, the legendary Monkey King from Chinese literature, and his quest to retrieve the all-powerful weapon known as the “Ruyi Jingu Bang”.
The game will be powered by the in-house FENGHUANG game engine and will allow players to explore highly detailed 3D environments, complete puzzles, master the ancient art of wushu, and take on some incredibly challenging enemies.
